Remembering Sandy Hook…

What transpired at Sandy Hook Elementary on Friday is incomprehensible.  Cruel acts of violence are never easy to understand, but when the lives of innocent children are taken, it casts a horrible shadow us all.  It’s cold, it’s frightful, and it’s unsettling.  We want answers, and we want it to stop.  Honestly, I’m not sure we’ll ever get answers or make sense of this horrendous act of violence.

Today, my prayers exist on many levels.  I pray for the families of these victims.  May God comfort them in their mourning and allow them all to find solace in His love and the memory of their loved ones… I pray for the leaders in this nation–for wisdom in how to help to make certain these kind of evil massacres never happen again.

Thank you to all those who have reached out in love to assist in the healing process.
